I've been thinking about this a lot too.
He can afford to take a progressive stance because he has billions. But he is taking a progressive stance while other billionaires are lining up to lick the boot of fascism. So, that makes me drawn to him more.
That being said, no more billionaires please.

I am…slightly concerned about the internet’s enthusiasm for JB Pritzker. He’s certainly not the worst governor IL has ever had, but he is a billionaire. Right now “progressivism” is a convenient stance for him to take. But like any billionaire, he’ll pick his money over you.
