Cause deeeefinitelllly everything wacky & exaggerated has to be based on the mentally ill dog and dumbass cat cartoon made by a bunch of guys who worked for animation’s most reviled ass that makes Pat Sullivan blush. Ugh. Also, nice cartoon! I really, really loved it ^^
Hey, since you’re here, what’s the name of the song in the beginning of your Ytp, “The Green, The Eggs and the Ham” when the cat in the hat is rapping and the background is colorful?
The fact that a few people in the video comments are calling it a Ren & Stimpy clone.
I'm over here facepalming because not everything with 2 incompatible guys has to be an R&S clone. And even though Pinokidoki does have a little bit of that energy, I wasn't getting R&S vibes out of the short.
Yeah and if i gotta be honest, it might also be one of more "Light heated" Pinocchio Stories Even with the Adult Humor, That´s just how i think about it compared to the Disney and Del Toro Movies.
Though seriously, it does bug me how whenever people see cartoons with extreme expressions or zany movement they go "Oh it's John K influenced" and if not that, "Oh it's Max G influenced", as if they created those tropes instead of copying them from cartoons created decades before they were born.

... shoot I gotta step it up on my own stuff lol
(still better than 2022’s Pinoc, that’s for sure)

I’m not the most professional R&S historian or cartoonist but I don’t see the similarities at all besides the classical music.
