I was not shocked that “Wicked” won no awards. Well, except the one the Golden Globes seems to have auspiciously created for them.

Look, most people are not that into Ariana Grande’s screeching for 2 hours.

This award (IMO) was a nice way to say, “please don’t do this again”.

I'm glad that you touched on some of the push back on social media (mostly by MAGA) as it does reflect the scapegoating of marginalized groups, just like we're seeing today.

it's just a shame that the political tension with animal rights was in the original book published in 1995.

Wicked is a terrific movie that does just justice to Gregory Maguire's book as well as the Broadway musical.

I recommend this. Glinda is not a dictator in the show, but her behaviors and their motivations are very similar to the Orange Jesus (©️@repjadmine.bsky.social), and reviewer’s explanation why she continues to be seen “good” is quite persuasive to understand MAGA.
