Thanks for your reply. I was thinking about that since I recently saw the video from the ranch of VR hosting CS27...guess they have reconciled their differences, it was great to see them both riding in the dirt together and generally being friendly...
I'd obvs rather leave Twatter but have built up a good following over the last 12 years which is important to my work. I'm sure most of them are good people - most of the eejuts stopped following me years ago, because they get confused and start crying when I speak common sense 😂
I left Xitter because the algorithm ensured that my tweets had no audience; partly because I refused to pay the 'blue tick fee' and partly because my politics didn't align with the platforms chosen direction. It isn't a champion of free speech, it champions Musk's interpretation of free speech.
Still have my ‘burner’ account… with no followers and following nobody… just so I can keep myself topped-up with conspiracy theories, threats of violence against minorities, moronic economics and other lunacy!
I think it is worth highlighting that there are people on here getting more engagement compared to X, even though they have fewer followers due to the way the algorithms work on X (not saying that will apply to you or motorcycling content, but worth mentioning).
I would also rather leave Twitter, but after so many years on there, I’m struggling to get comfortable on here. Too many of the people I follow have yet to get over here. You being here now helps! 👊✊
It's nice hearing from people I used to hear from on Twitter - and have only now realised why I've not heard from them for a while! Am sure it will keep growing
There’s little hope I’m afraid - the level of misinformation and how deep it’s gone, especially the USA and here is mind-boggling. People seem to love being lied to
