The Economist states that AI has reached the "Trough of Disillusionment"on the hype cycle, but I don't agree. It's still being hyped, still being funded, I don't hear about layoffs, and people aren't embarrassed to be associated with it (yet).
But it may be on a slope downward, so maybe next year.
