I don't know if it makes much of a difference but he has been in the USA since '88.

It's still very awful, but the cropped screenshot made me think it was someone who'd just crossed on vacation or for work.

Makes no difference. He's our citizen either way. If he came home, he'd have the same rights as me.

The fact that he's been an American citizen for so long makes it more incriminating since they can't even argue he's in the country when he shouldn't be. Isn't it a bit misleading to present this as if he's a Canadian citizen that was visiting?

As far as I could tell from skimming this he never became an American citizen, unless I missed it which is totally possible. Lawful permanent resident was what I saw.

They are going after anyone who isn't a naturalized citizen. The purple heart veteran who self deported to South Korea was also a permanent resident and had a drug charge from 15 years ago.

Maybe it has something to do with Stephen Miller's 3,000 arrest quota?

Crickets. Canada has degraded from being a world leader in the 60's through 80's to becoming a disgrace. I don't mean the boots on the ground I mean their political masters. Since they collectively hung Dallaire out to dry, the political class been useless internationally
