Personally not at all.

Got diagnosed with “Functional Neurological Disorder” and forced to push through my symptoms with caused a long term crash.

Later consultations confirmed the FND diagnosis was innapropriate in my case (and in the case of pwLC in general) but it somehow still gets pushed.

No. My neurologist has been helpful in very very specific items that I have fiercely advocated for. 1-migraines with vertigo and mitigations for that. 2-seizures and mitigations for that. Nothing else. No creativity, problem solving or interest in other topics, neurological or otherwise.

My neuro appts have been a waste of time and spoons. Totally unwilling to stretch outside their well-trod treatment paths.

My neurologist referred me for an MRI, which came back normal, then threw up his hands and said he couldn’t really do anything for me.

Yeah, it's really awful. I had a couple of medical procedures done in June which lowered my baseline, and I still haven't recovered from that 6 months later. Being protective of ourselves and our energy is so important.
