My friends who aren’t on BlueSky haven’t heard a fraction of what I’ve learned here. Could be Meta’s algorithmic suppression, could just be apathy/denial. This makes me long for pre-Trump TikTok even more. The speed and volume of crucial information was unmatched. Which is why they had to kill it.

She was utterly appalled by the stuff I told her had happened, but she hadn't heard any of it. She works a lot and doesn't watch the news. How do we (collectively) get the info to these people?

I have been trying to reach out and talk to friends to see how they are feeling/ dealing, and everyone one just asks why? They don't watch the news and don't know what's going on and don't want to know.

Ive mostly stopped talking to my family cuz im so mad that they dont care to know whats going on. My whole life they pushed educational toys and magazines and books on me. Now that i know things, they want to live in ignorance. They wont even talk about making plans to flee back to mexico if needed.
