Probably helps that the drive systems on many of these were already electric. My electric machines professor use to work on these, they just used a diesel engine to power the drive motors. Swap diesel engine with batteries and plug them into the existing drivetrain. Love to see it

JCB is twatting about with hydrogen for their diggers. They just don't seem to have realised that hydrogen is a little pointless and inefficient if you move to an all electric economy.
