I once dated a guy who was Catholic, had become nonreligious, then decided he wished to convert to Judaism.
Throughout our (short) relationship I supported him and even attended his conversion ceremony.
Immediately after he said my atheism was a dealbreaker. When we met he was an atheist too. 🤣

Mixed-faith relationships are exceedingly possible, even when one party is very committed to their practice & the other has a different practice or is an atheist or etc. but without a little thing called *mutual respect* & willingness to honor the other’s pov & needs? Fughgeddaboudit.
