Had a red tailed hawk try to grab a chicken right in front of me and the dog, like 10 m away. Everyone is okay but it was scary. Had this problem last February too, so maybe the hawks are particularly bold and hungry since it's their breeding season.

Anyway no outdoor foraging for a bit!
