Lots of the current players do not have the Leeds baggage around them.Lots of experience in top leagues/international level.This team feels like it can handle pressure.
Next 2 games are the crunch ones of the season so far,2 wins we are flying,a win + a draw is OK as well.

The squad seems more solid, resolute, balanced, & together than last year’s bright season. Entering the last 3rd of last season Cry, Rutter & Gray knew they’d be leaving & on-loan Anthony knew he wouldn’t be signed if we got promoted. Big diff this year. More resilience too. Come on #LUFC

At some level their departures hurt but watching this season’s #LUFC, we are a better, more effective team, less reliant on individuals. Their play was selfish — that’s been coached out of Rutter at Brighton— & Summerville was predictable, almost always cutting inside to curl it in.

I think after the run we had this time last year we were still 2nd or occasionally 1st by 1 point etc (depending on who played when etc). But if we turn our current run into a run of similar length we could be 12, 15 points clear. That's a huge difference.

I think Cry had switched off before Easter because he knew, Rutter was both knackered and knew he had suitors by then, and we were so reliant on them it coincided with our form dropping. I’m happy if you disagree with that. This isn’t Twitter 👍

Whatever the case, we’re much better off without the pair now. They were too individualistic. Our current 4 (Gnonto, James, Ramazani, Solomon) brings others into the play much better, which makes #LUFC more dangerous.

We were very predictable with Summerville and Rutter. Pretty much any attacks would be down the left. Once that channel was closed, we struggled for ideas. What is worrying is they're both struggling in PL.

I've been thinking this for a while now. Felt like last season we were mostly relying on individual talents to win us matches, if one or all of the front 4 had an off day we could play for 900 mins and never score. This season does feel a lot more like a well oiled machine #LUFC

Apart from the obvious talent in Summerville and Ritter, Bamford was a huge influence from January on. As soon as he was injured vs. Boro we dropped off a cliff.

Although both were very special. They could also be a bit selfish with the ball at times. With Solomon and Aaronson you don't get that feeling. If we do go up we've also got a lot of space in the squad to make improvements!

I have been a Leeds fan for over 50 years, and know we are quite capable of cocking this up.

Strong parallels can be drawn with last season with a fantastic post Christmas run of 14 unbeaten matches in the league (12 wins ), but took just 8 points from out last eight matches - possible again ? 👍🏻

I don't agree. We were miles behind when that run started, always catching up. We look far stronger as a team this time too. Other than Swansea we didn't really bury teams in that period, workman like and solid wins, but not this level of control. Solomon is better for the team than Summerville btw.

No real parallels with last season. Last season we were always chasing the top 2 after a weak start where players were still leaving, and relied on Cree and Rutter.
This season we are a proper squad with greater resilience and are leading the pack - others have to catch us up this time.
