It looks like a perfect mix of silly and stoic in that litter. Hopefully all with big hearts and a drive to runrunrunrun and eat every meal placed before them.

The first time i drove a sled the hanging on was the part i failed to do and had to chase the sled half a mile before they got hung up on a snowbank and waited for me 😂

My first ride ever was on a second sled behind Rick Swenson and a team of 22(!) dogs he was training for the Iditarod. I did really well until we made a steep, 90-degree drop off a logging road and I was sling-shotted into the air and headed for trees. I figured it was better to let go than die.

I only lost one team after that, but Rick was ahead of me so my team was stopped quickly. I sure got dragged a lot, though.

Ouch!!! That would be scary! 22 dogs is quite a lot! I've only driven with 6 and 12 so far.
