While that might be all valid from a lore perspective you probably should keep in mind that this was designed with a game in mind.
Lol's gameplay perspective is a top down birds eye view if they made characters completely unrecognizable that could become an issue.
Like part of character design is thinking about it in *context* and the fact that the characters needs to stay easily recognizable should be factored in in my opinion.
But they changed a lot of her silhouette already, how would covering the face - barely visible from the top-down perspective anyway - meaningfully affect the recognizability?

That's why they have the hair contrast the costume so much. Your eyes are drawn towards her face by design especially when the character comes *at* you
