I have no problem saying a large portion of misogyny comes from straight men, but OP is saying “straight men”. As I am a straight man, OP is talking about me.
At best it’s a lazy lack of nuance. At worst, OP genuinely has clumped all straight men together and labeled them as bad.

If you don't have a problem with women main characters, she wasn't talking about you. You have to take the sentence as a whole, and stop hurting your own feelings.
I am a straight man, and that doesn’t apply to me, so it’s frustrating to hear.
Why can’t we address the trouble makers directly?
Good news, they e been called out by the same post that you're pissing and moaning about.
I can explain it to you, and have, but I can't understand it for you.
What I don’t understand is if everyone seems to agree that it’s not literally a straight men, why do we continue to generalize the group?
I’m offended because I’m being accused of something that I don’t do. My point is that this causes the “good” straight men to turn their back on these causes since they’re being accused of being against the causes anyway.
