Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for tech rehearsals/previews of Tarell Alvin McCraney's "The Brothers Size." It's a good one. We open on Friday night and run through most of May. You should come see it if you're in Portland!

The story is about the brothers Ogun Size and Oshoosi Size. Oshoosi has recently come out of prison and is living with his brother, working in his auto repair shop. Oshoosi's friend from prison Elegba arrives. The three navigate issues of love, freedom, and brotherhood. It's good.
I'm also impressed that PCS secured a religious consultant (a babalocha in the Regla de Ocha tradition) through the whole process of making this play, and facilitated all appropriate divinations, offerings and blessings.
