Well, in 2006 Gaza elected Hamas and rejected Fatah and killed and expelled about 600 of their fellow Arabs in a complete Hamas takeover of Gaza by force. Perhaps the poor choice the people of Gaza made, and the Oct 7 Hamas breaking of the Hamas-Israeli peace has its consequences?
