I used freecodecamp many moons ago. I started to build since 2016. Then finally during pandemic while working as a cleaner I went for it then got my first job.

- CS degree is OK but less traditional background even better
- Not just SF / NYC folks
- Not just big tech folks
- Age doesn't matter
- Open source street cred a plus
- fCC certs a plus
- Listener of the show a plus
