We have both tools and challenges that didn't exist before.

I suspect a lot more walled gardens hosted outside the US. A lot more vetting and requirements for accounts. A lot less general public visibility on mainstream platforms. But I don't think we'll be stamped out entirely.

personally, it’s a bit enervating. the thing i most want is to put stories into the world that i would’ve loved. every piece i have in circ rn is explicitly trans & they meet the same fate. lotta big journals anchored in “red” state unis.
