I did change the setting on my PHONE and it did not prompt me for ALT text on my DESKTOP. Must further test this.

This is so helpful. I did it a few weeks ago and I haven’t forgotten to alt text since. Some on bsky have perfected the art of posting incisive/hilarious alt text.

I don't know if it's still this way, but back when I set my account to always require alt text, I had to toggle it on separately on my desktop browser and phone.
