Feels kinda weird to me how little my day-to-day life is about music—which may be weird to say as someone who ostensibly works in "music" as a full time day job...

But in Junior high, I was making and releasing my own music regularly on the internet, in high school a full 3/7 of my classes were music-related some semesters, and then in college I... well I went to music school
Even aside from all of the music that I made in college (and I made quite a bit!) I was going to concerts weekly, I was regularly rehearsing myself, the friends I talked most with were all musicians (and we talked *about* music), folk jams would occasionally just happen in the building I lived in...
Cliches about college life aside I do miss that spontaneity and level of participation. There was a particular kind of zeal and excitement for musical stuff that I'd really like to experience again, if I can.
I'd love to talk with more people about music and make more music with more people, but my time away from being in literal music school has made me feel like my impostor syndrome around people who were "properly devoted" to the craft is both permanent and justified (which I do *know* is nonsense)
