This place does seem to encourage stratification? Categories? Putting ourselves in to boxes and staying on topic... I am grateful for the human conversations we have here anywayπ

Not every post is for everyone, I guess it's a little of the online mind/identity expectations from others. Uniformity is bad! and I'm glad you're here!
True true. It's well- intentioned people replying to me personally, probably just not realising that I'm not here for the Insider In Group Messaging π maybe i have no business being online anymore, my preferences might be too early 2000s/ under 1 million users based π π
I had a groceries page about what my housemate was eating for dinner back in uni ( it was usually a noodles can, label removed, directly on burner, stirred & consumed with single chopstick, so no dishesπ )
THese youths cannot kill me
Their magic is WEAK
I donβt like categories or maybe itβs one dimensional or singular focused posting/engagement. I like whole multifaceted everything. The best real life friends Iβve ever had were messy mixtures of emotions and interests. And sometimes we got naked. But usually we didnβt. I hope for the unexpected.
I will frequently say ( mutter) to myself " do you even have a personality???' while on the internet Internet seems to encourage ' be a product and stay on topic', and to discourage ' be an inconsistent, not on- brand, messy human'
Yeah. I gain and lose followers consistently depending on what I post at any given time (and therefore stay at the same count. Which is fine! Quality not quantity.) The people here for smut usually unfollow when they see that's not my main focus, and a lot of "normies" clutch pearls and leave. π€·ββοΈ
