My main experience with Dragon Quest is unfortunately only Fortune Street (which is an awesome game I would hope they revisit!).

It's really fun! The only thing that stinks is at some point you know who has the best chances at winning and if you're not one of them the game becomes a chore (or in my case a bunch of sarcastic comments at every turn, lol). We could really only do it in short spurts.

Maybe an unfair comparison but... DQ3 HD-2D looks so much better than Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. While the former feels like a celebration of the history of the game and its legacy, the latter feels like an obligation with little passion.

The HD2D-artstyle is basically my catnip. I’ve never played any of the Dragon Quests, so obviously this and the 1+2 combo are insta-buys for me. But if I were calling the shots? Remake Chrono Trigger in the same way, and greenlight Octopath Traveler 3, like, yesterday.
