I understood the author to be saying is that the number of years included in the Baby Boomer generation is so large the second half is no where near the same culturally.
For example, my parents grew up in the 1950’s. Drive-Ins, Elvis, Rock & Roll, etc.
No, right. I meant whatever entity designates the generations and what measurement they use. Obviously there will be varying cultural influences regardless of where one falls within a designated generation, including whether one is a firstborn or the baby. Family/Sibling culture has an impact, too.
1960’s & early 1970’s. In the 1960’s, we had the Counter Culture Hippies, Vietnam War, & entirely different culture environment than the 1950’s, which seems to be to most nostalgic decade folks wish to return.
