Even as an artist myself I struggle with leaving comments but let me tell you this:
If an artist reacts poorly to you're comments, that is on THEM & NOT YOU.
Even comments that are just emojis or generic compliments can make our day 100x better & encourage artists to continue making their art! 💕

+ I swear algorithms seriously have ruined the social aspects of social media , even on Bluesky where algorithms are less of a thing BUT since we have gotten so used to algorithms ATP it has kind of fucked with how we navigate here I think :"/ , like damn it does suck ;;

Typo but my point remains that honestly comments mean more to me than mere numbers, we need to bring back the *social* aspects of social media!!
I have to work on commenting more even, but I think people just don't realize anymore how much comments can make a difference- it can even save artists from giving up!

I legit get so giddy and happy hearing folks reaction and thoughts on my art (especially on OC posts bc I love to ramble and scream abt my silly lil guys lol)
At least for me- it's the comments on my art that keep me going & are the reason I am still cooking art to this day even in the times I want to give up or quit, it makes a difference! /gen 💖
