I had to take my mom in to the hospital for a colonoscopy. Every room we walked into from reception to discharge was full of coughing people (including staff and 99% still unmasked)
I made my mom mask

Of course they did. Here in BC I can report I had a mask-wearing adult offspring in emerg, advising of their covid positive status. When it came time for an oral temp reading/reluctance to remove the mask, the nurse whispered assuringly masking wasn’t necessary as “everyone here is sick anyways” …
