A few notes:

-I focused a lot on triplets in the composition. It started with just eighth note triplets, but the B section uses echoing quarter note triplets, and there's sixteenth note triplets in the answering melody around 0:06 & 0:15.

-The B-Section was inspired by 'Servants of the Mountain' from FFX. I wanted a somber, more pensive second half to the more intense beginning, and I kept thinking about the little mallet percussion from that song. I used kalimbas, dulcimers and marimbas.

Oh, and background art is from Sonic Advance's Ice Mountain Zone. Not much thought in using that specific image, it just came to my head.
