The kids go on a school trip to NYC and it's the 80s style turtles from the old Eastman/Laird days. It was really cool. But yeah... who'd have thought? Lol. They even made action figures.
Not surprised since I heard having TMNT crossover with almost everything was a goal for IDW at the time. I think that's gonna switch to Power Rangers from what I heard.

The TMNT Stranger Things crossover was perfect. I have the Street Fighter TMNT hardcover but haven't read it yet. Every crossover is epic lol
