Evangelicalism is the red-headed stepchild of Protestantism. It’s not even as old as our country. Episcopalianism is Anglican and derived from the Church of England which goes back to King Henry the VIII. The First Amendment gave rise to a lot of protected revisionist charlatan religious cults.
