Yeah tell that to people with an opinion on how you should think and what you should do. It's all self serving bs all the way down to the dopamine hit they get for staying ignorant.
Woke means having awareness and knowledge. It’s not about virtue and compassion although being woke does lead one to empathize with others. It’s specific to AAV because it’s connected to our plight as survivors. #ADOS
People mock being "woke" b/c it takes attention and humility to ensure that all people are taken into consideration. Attention to people's differences, and humility to unlearn our unconscious biases. It too much "work" for some people, who prefer to live in their black and white bubble.
Id like to outlaw the use of the word woke. Nobody is woke. some people have empathy and some people are sociopaths. No one is woke and no one is asleep.
I actually don't blame people for feeling apathetic. The task seems impossible. How do you remove the influence of a very select group of people over the lives of every single person in the country. Seems impossible without destroying the entire thing.
Its never a good way. World history has a pretty clear blueprint on how all this will go down. I can't think of a single example of a civilization self correcting in a peaceful way
