know how we solve these health care issues? we tax the super rich guys making electric cars, buying newspapers and giant yachts, and running blood sucking companies and we pay for health care for everyone. thank you for coming to my ted talk.

As someone in healthcare, I will add this : healthcare -as is- is making a lot of people A LOT of money. Until that stops, this will go on. Your suggestion should be done asap - to save lives and livelihoods- but all that’ll mean is more readily feeding very very greedy beasts
Healthcare should never be “for profit”; there should never be a profit motive involved. “Do no harm” should always extend to people’s health, but also financial repercussions in their pursuit of staying alive and healthy.
there are too many people in liberalism who wonk with this kind of thing and go "well actually its very difficult and [10 million other snooze inducing arguments for why we cant fix this while the rest of the world does it]"
I still can't believe Dems haven't glommed onto the argument that M4A WOULDN'T cost more because it's SUBSIDIZED, but ALSO because the subscriber base will be HUGE. I mean, I pay over $500 a MONTH, and if I pay $300 instead, but it's called a TAX, it's BAD???
and i have to confess, one of the reasons i probably will never be a buttigieg guy was his (now long forgotten) argument that health care reform should be "Medicare For All Who Want It." which is the most mushy middle center-left thing and why a lot of people absolutely hate us.

Their heirs get the cash but are extremely hesitant to commit to selfishness with it given how they received it. Tax them.
Two paths...
Yes, progressive taxation solves everything.
