oh my god, I just found the reason that caused the main bug people have been getting in kana... I feel so stupid orz also dont understand how it never happened to me during testing, then I could have fixed it 😠man

(basically during the common event that teleports you to the game, I accidentally put another common event that teleports you to the desktop first, which must have canceled out the other teleport sometimes)
