Where I live, most houses are chopped up into a lot of little rooms. I designed and had built a house with a very open design. The builders and everyone were aghast. Once it was finished they went bonkers about how cool it is. 2000 sq ft, 4 bed, 4 bath. marble floors, etc.. $25k
