I wonder if this is the tipping point. I wonder if this snaps people out of it. These idiots have real life-and-death power. Governments are in charge of wars. I wonder if this finally shows people we're being ruled by idiots and maniacs

It's going to depend how well they're paying attention. My sister had no idea that the Republican Party is synonymous with racism because she doesn't pay attention to news or social media. She just votes the way she's always voted without knowing what she's doing. 🙄
I just genuinely think most people pay so little attention to world events that they're completely unaware that 1) Russia is still at war with Ukraine and 2) Trump is making it worse.

She just spends so little time thinking about news or politics that she didn't even know what she was voting for or why, just that her family was voting that way, too.
I use her as a barometer for my idea of "most people"
I would like to believe that everyone who's seen bullies (or abuse) would recognize that here... But I think there are still a lot of people who view abuse as a neutral display of power...and therefore good if it's coming from "their side"
I honestly think a majority of Americans already understand this on at least some level, but they've just never had a credible alternative political project to nurture and grow this dissent into something substantial
