Spot on!! I have been playing TTPD - nonstop since the election. (Those songs too!) It’s crazy how easily the meaning fits so well with the current events. Taylor’s music will get us through this. 🫶🏻
This generation gets a lot of flack, but they even give less of a shit than us Gen Xers and will change this world in a good way. The old guard is going away, and they know it.
@thereallara001.bsky.social I've been thinking about how we were denied the positive timeline. But I'm thankful that I got to experience the hope of the possibility. It was a good feeling. And it inspires me to continue to fight so that we can get on the positive timeline eventually.
I appreciate that sentiment, but I'm not glad I experienced a time of false hope. It makes the outcome even more cruel. I do know that looking for hope now, and making a way out of no-way is what we MUST do. Facing the challenges with no illusions and a steady mind
My 25 & 28 yo daughters are doing what they can to put 1 foot in front of the other, holding the walking sticks I got them for Xmas as defense due to the almost daily threats they get from men on the street. Since the election, the response to their ignoring them has gotten frightening.
I'm doing it right is a feeling I share. Mine is a bit older and making momma so proud. Leo Martin on TT. Getting the word out to the young adults. The young people give me hope.
I'm deeply sad and so angry. It's hard to have any hope. The last time I got excited and hopeful (tiktok coverage of Harris/Walz campaign) the pain of losing that possible future was a gut punch I'm not recovered from. Still: glad to hear your positive perspective. It's vital not to give up
I couldn’t possibly live this more! Excellent job, mama!!! Same thing going on in my house- all my children refuse to go back to TikTok and are speaking out loud and proud! 🥲
