I was so excited to see this protest. We used to have a condo at Sugarbush. The towns of Waitsfield and Warren are beautiful and friendly but they are not welcoming of MAGA. Vermonters have contributed to this country since the Revolution. They deeply believe in the Constitution unlike Vance & DJT.
I implore Democrats not to attend the State of the Union this year given everything we have witnessed from the Trumb administration. Your presence alone is an endorsement of Trumb’s policies. Don’t disappoint US by normalizing them.
1-3K protesters along the road, only a small group at the Inn Vance was staying at and just handful at the ski resort and he still fled to an “undisclosed location”. It really doesn’t take much to make them run away does it. Meanwhile Zelenskyy is going back to a war zone.
We must protest every single Republican in the same manner, making their lives as uncomfortable as possible until we convey the message that we will not relinquish our Democracy, nor will the American people align themselves with such a brutal regime as Russia!
