Trump is not shutting down NOAA, he is attempting to cut the waste. Are you saying there is no wasteful spending or inefficiencies at NOAA? We need to reduce our deficit spending and fast, we have a debt crisis that needs to be resolved. All agencies are being subject to major cuts.
Those living in Florida, and other places in the U.S., understand only too well why we need NOAA. Think of how much worse it could have been during Hurricanes such as Andrew, Charlie, Ivan, Irma, Helene, etc. People will die because of this cut. People will die.
