Hey, fellow Oregonian friends! Be very careful with your cats. Avian flu killed two kitties in Multnomah county. They were eating a pet food called "Wild Coast Raw."

...I hate to say that I eat chicken quite often myself -_- so if this is the case, I may have to get rid of the only white meat in my general diet...

The issue is that the cat food was raw. If you cook it normally, you can totally still eat chicken! It's probably gonna get pretty expensive though, as they've been culling thousands of birds.
