Galaxy High School was created by TMS Entertainment, the studio behind Urusei Yatsura. Made for an American audience and released in 1986, GHS is beautifully animated, and the characters were designed by John K before he became the unfortunate shit-stain we all know today.
that means his mentor worked on it too right? can't remember for sure (the mighty mouse guy). this show really dragged us in as a kid though... it's too bad that john is a paragon of evil (not saying that lightly at all)
Oh yeah, it was Ralph huh. Ralph is a weirdo, still think it's funny that he thought Wizards was his equivalent to a Disney film, but yeah, he seems fine as a person. Very agree John is just a garbage man. Also took too much credit from unders that honestly did more lively work like Bob Camp.
oh sorry, totally aside, but how do you feel about Hey Good Lokin'? we didn't grow up in the 70s so even just the first 10 min were a lot for us, but we have been meaning to actually sit down and watch the whole thing for reasons of curiosity and understanding
BIG CORRECTION: TMS entertainment did Galaxy High but someone pointed out it was studio Deen that made Urusei Yatsura. TMS is probably most well known for Lupin the 3rd, Detective Conan and the Moomin anime series.
I know TMS best for DuckTales, Tiny Toons and Animaniacs. They didn't do every episode, but they're the ones who defined the look everyone thinks of when they think of those shows.
