It was introduced on Thursday and the next step is a hearing in the Medical Affairs subcommittee. That hasn’t been scheduled yet. We need to put pressure on senators to stop this bill. Call your state senator every day!

Birth control is redefined as only preventing ovulation. Any method that prevents a fertilized egg from implanting in the uterus would be illegal. IUDs will be banned but also some BC pills that work not only to prevent ovulation but also to make the uterus less susceptible to implantation - banned!
