Helping people is woke. Caring about others is woke. This guy is POS of the week. He claims he was“chased” when clearly he was not. So scared guy was scared?
The Psycho Broligarchs have taken control of the government and men like Banks feel really good about that. They Hate who the Broligarchs Hate ... which is pretty much everybody, except maybe for a few Ultra Rich White Men. They believe everyone else should die or disappear.
The person who's getting money thrown at him by billionaires for kowtowing to their views? AIPAC (mostly Republican billionaires), Blackstone Private Equity, and Koch's Club for Growth?
Banks is the beneficiary of enormous rightwing cash.
He has the gall to tell off federal workers busting their butts, while he's drinking at the rightwing money trough, bought and captured by billionaires?
No, we don’t. The decent people outweigh the awful people, but we are ruled over by a minority of privileged, complacent, and complicit people who enable awfulness. Part of it is a toxic culture of worshipping wealth and “success”, presuming that money = merit.
A friend of mine refers to it as a hostage situation; with gerrymandering, the electoral college, etc, the voice of the few can outweigh the voice of the many.
Look at the recently decided case where one person won an election in North Carolina and the judge ruled to throw out 60,000 votes so the other person would be the winner (but not throw out their votes for any other races). There’s no legitimate reason for that decision.
If enough decent people paid attention and voted, then that kind of thing wouldn’t happen. Also, it would help if Republican leaders acted in good faith. The fact that we have a whole party of miscreants is damning.
In the surface, yes, but again: it isn’t exactly what it appears to be; gerrymandering is a serious issue that keeps corruption in power despite voters turning out to do good, sometimes in record numbers.
Jim Banks is an evil POS just like the rest of them. He’s got the perfect model in POTUS and VPOTUS et al. He knows he’s not alone. I just hope he loses reelection.

The one who had a complaint filed asserting he committed fraud on the House?
He doesn't deserve HIS job.
