This morning on Radio Ulster, Nolan accused us of not engaging with the politicians in regards to the blocker ban and we wish to set the record straight. 1/

@hleehurley.substack.com and I had a lengthy meeting with @naomilong.bsky.social and she told us she had already held many other meetings on the subject, at the end of the meeting I asked her if she would, with hindsight, make the same decision about the ban, her response was "I don't know" 🤯🤯
Across NI prides have been engaging and attempting to engage with the parties on an individual level and have also invited all of them to a meeting with all of the Rural Prides plus foyle so they have the opportunity to defend their positions 2/
The decision to ban political parties is not one that has been entered into lightly and we would like to make very clear we have not banned any individuals from attending, they will just have to do so without party banners/branding /3
