I know I'm basically at the bottom of an empty well right now in terms of getting attention (understandably), but I'm proud of this story and I think it's worth your time to take a break and read.

This one thousand percent. When I brought home my second (living) baby from the hospital just seven months ago, I cried all the way home because I knew we were likely done for all of the reasons you just stated and it broke my heart wide open. Still does.
It's particularly nice to hear from actual people going through their fertility journeys - a lot of this policy feels like it's made about a caricature of a person, not real people
Abortion is integral to pregnancy & birth rates. I had 3 while actively growing my family. One pregnancy was attached to my bowel & I had chemo to treat it. One pregnancy was late term holoprosencephaly-incompatible with life with only a hind brain. One was first trimester hemorrhaging miscarriage
I can identify with this so much! I’ve been considering having a baby for a year or two…I think I’d be a good mom. As soon as Trump won I knew the decision was made for me.
Being pregnant under Christian nationalist policies is a death sentence.
I am so relieved my pregnancy days are done. I had two uncomplicated pregnancies and deliveries that resulted in my now-teenagers. Also had two miscarriages, one which required a D&C. I can't imagine navigating a pregnancy again with all these states and their big government laws.
Kelcie, this is such an important article. I believe it will touch everyone that reads it! As a mom of 3 with a 7 year gap between my middle and youngest, it really moved me.
Can someone please print out physical copies of the article and send one to each of our legislators and Governor Little?

Could I financially afford it? No.
Would I physically be able to afford it? No.
Could I trust the government to let my doctors do what they would need to do to prevent me from maybe dying? Also no.
