I hope the teacher refuses to remove the poster. All of us need to be prepared for civil disobedience (think lunch counter sit-ins or school integration). Until we start denying the resegregation regime authority, we will sacrifice all the gains made over the last 60 years.

“Everyone is welcome here” is a generic enough statement. But adding the pictures, describing how “everyone” is to be interpreted, leaves those disagreeing (racist) feeling like they’re on the outside, and their feelings get hurt.

This reminds me, is there any news/update regarding the lawsuit of the Eagle High School family that sued West Ada over racism, bullying, harrassment and a teacher using the n word in class? They say West Ada never addressed their concerns. This seems to tie in with what is happening here as well. 💔
