I've done this way too many times to count, I blank out easily and while I'm scrolling "reading", i suddenly get back into focus and go "where am I in the story?" although minus the meds part, very relatable.
For real! I've gotten chapters in when something happens and I have to be like "when the hell they didn't mention that?" Only to find out they did, like 2 chapters ago! 😭😂
