I hope media outlets actually take the time to stop pearl clutching and really REALLY look into why America seems to have zero sympathy for an executive who’s job it was to say “no” to helping sick people so he could make millions.

A capitalist is an authoritarian by another name. I realize. That language is shocking to most but that's quite simply the case.
Nobody who works to make the world a better place for all should live in fear of being assaulted. Those who seek to oppress should live in absolute terror.
Its genuinely amazing billionaires have been slowly killing the planet and everyone on it and thought “nah the day the cattle turns on us could never happen”. Its like you get a big enough figure in your bank account and you lose touch with the real world.
If you want to reduce it to that; that decision never goes away. No matter how your healthcare is funded, someone decides staffing levels, and someone decides which treatments are available.
Saying it is ok to kill that person just means you're killing civil servants under single payer.
From someone in a country with universal healthcare: you are wrong. And being paid billions to kill thousands is noone anyone with any moral decency should feel sorry for. What do mass murderers usually get when sentenced?
Apples and oranges. Noone in a country with universal healthcare is going to get bankrupt because they need life saving medication. An MP alone cannot decide who does or does not get life saving treatment. And they won't let an AI decide that either. And the french revolution was a thing.
every single american has a story about them or a family member being denied healthcare by one of these guys. i had to declare bankruptcy in 2013 due to overwhelming medical debt caused by anthem and UH denials.
Yes :(( it’s one thing for a actual human being, but to relegate that job AND PURPOSELY SET THE SETTING TO AuTOmatic NO of needed benefits, for ANY desperate human who applies (by an unfeeling machine no less) is just unconscionable.
I just heard about about this recently, why the hell should AI be deciding ANYTHING on a humans health or eligibility?! Who thought this was a good idea! 🤬That poor man and all those thousands of UH recipients denied makes me sick 🤢 .
Though, we should always condone violence... However, looking from the real victim's perspective, you understand fully why these things happen. They (executives) don't care about us, so why should we...
You know, it's nice to see a guy you used to watch like 8 years ago on YT turned out to be a decent person and not a crazy ghoul or a criminal like so many other.
Thank you, Jesse, for that one bit of hope. It's appreciated these days.
This :(( I don’t wish death on anyone and nor do I condone this murder but damned if I can’t at least see the BIG why behind what he did the deeper one looks into the whole story instead of just the billionaire’s/corp side.
Billionaires think they play outside the FAFO ratio.
But it looks like the FO has met FA on the chart.
I wonder if this will have a domino effect of emboldening others to commit similar acts? I'm not encouraging it, but curious to see how this all unfolds.

(If too cryptic, I mean pre-WW2 and the people we SHOULD be punching?)
I think it was a great tradition that should be restored. Except replace royals with billionaires.

What you are proposing is the sort of thing that gets MPs murdered and that we have known is no way to run a civilisation for thousands of years.
You cannot murder people in the street because you don't like them.

And I hope the NYPD understands that the shooter's identity isn't covered under their current plan. 🖕
It's just that for most of them, their billionaire owners would never let them side with the people
The others just want to keep up a "civilized" appearance
an unexpected medical procedure & homelessness due to cost of living / jobloss
The first is due to corporate apathy & the second is due to corporate idolatry
both are rooted in corporate greed
But it looks like the FO has met FA on the chart.
