I know one of the School buses used to come from Hanley bus station. Dave Barlow was a Shelton lad (Rectory Road I think) and he would have gone to school on that bus.

I hated my time there, spent most of my time in the NewTown, consequently was much better at Bar Billiards than British Govt when I left 😬😬😬
