Several ophtalmologists have now left for the private sector.
For the workers, constantly annoucing cuts and saying "we will find innovatives solutions" becomes discouraging. Often it means they have to do more with less, they have to deal with more crisis and less time actually helping patients get better.
I am helping my elderly parents with their healt care. My mom has dementia so she needs a lot. I find it extremly difficult to navigate the system..
I am very pessimistic. The less ressources workers get, the harder it is for patient, the less we will have workers.
