Unless things have changed markedly in the last couple of decades, gaining access to "smash up" a data centre takes more than an angry mob and a borrowed JCB. It's not impossible of course, but it's not usually the sort of thing that can be done more quickly than the police response.

Of course most animal rights incursions/'liberations' target breeding or holding facilities which are less well secured than the actual labs, but fair enough. You are absolutely entitled to believe that commercial data centres are generally vulnerable to smash-and-grab type operations.

That reads like Im advocating for that. I’m not in the slightest, I am just predicting it in the same way that animal testing labs get raided.
