I'm in the power industry. Transformers have become crazy scarce. It's pretty standard to buy refurbished these days. Typical wait times are a year or more

Hmmm. So does Disney get those or is that just for infrastructure outside the park boundary lines? Also when being replaced the transformers should have little signs that say "your lightning lane dollars at work"

Iirc it’s to be used by an entity within its jurisdiction and that’s likely Disney.
Given the timing of the other items discussed at the meeting, I would guess North World Drive expansion and in my wild dreams that includes a hotel but this is just my drunken guessing and dreaming.

I feel the need, especially after an earlier conversation today about how current fans are utterly clueless about how WDW was last century, to point out that things like this (and sewerage pipes exploding or in park fires etc) pretty much never happened back then. All for under $50 a day too!

Can you imagine getting free chocolates when the check came at full serve restaurants? How about soup or salad included with dinner entrees? How about parks open until 11 pm, midnight, 1 am, 2 am for all Guests? How about 24-hour room service? How about dress codes that were enforced? I can go on.
